Proceed to the Hotel to arrive for check-in, rest of the day spent at leisure with overnight at hotel.

Overnight: Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, your driver will meet you at the hotel’s lobby at 10:00am and after a short brief on the day’s excursion, your journey begins with a heart-warming visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, set on the outskirts of Nairobi National Park. This center has played a significant role in Kenya’s conservation efforts, offering hope for any orphaned baby elephant fortunate enough to be found alive and so far and is proud to have saved over 150 orphaned infant elephants, which would otherwise have perished. The baby elephants are raised at the orphanage with the intention of gradually reintegrating them into the wild. The age range of the elephants can vary from a few months to three years. Each elephant is assigned to its own keeper, who acts as a surrogate mother and will stay with the elephant until it is released back into the wild.

Your next stop is a tour of the Karen Blixen Museum situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills. The Museum was originally the home of Karen Blixen of the Out of Africa fame. Enjoy a delicious lunch, at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills.

After a hearty lunch, you proceed to the renowned Giraffe Center, an educational center and part of African Fund for Endangered Wildlife. The center has a small herd of Rothschild’s Giraffe which are an endangered species and you will get a rare opportunity to get up close to these gentle giants in this natural sanctuary, which was founded to protect the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Later return to your hotel, rest of the day spent at leisure.

Tonight, your hosts are the Manji Family and you will have the opportunity to have dinner at their residence in the Nairobi suburb and afterwards, transfer back to your hotel for your overnight.

Overnight: Nairobi

AMKA! Wake Up! Today is the day you embark on your safari! After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will be met by your guide driver at the hotel’s lobby who will help you load your luggage into the safari land cruiser then proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Your drive takes you north of Nairobi, through the rich agricultural and hilly mosaic of small farms, coffee plantations and pineapple to Sweet Waters Tented Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, around the foot of Mount Kenya. You will be sure to see the peak of Mount Kenya, as you drive from Nanyuki Town. You will arrive in good time for lunch, and will have the opportunity to relax before you have your first late afternoon game viewing drive.

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa, and home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. It has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya with lions, wild dogs and hyenas. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Starting with breakfast, enjoy a full day as you explore exotic Sweet Waters Sanctuary, in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The camp overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers an astounding variety of animals including all the Big Five and myriad plains game. This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor. The tents at Sweetwaters will remind us of this past era. The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. Lunch, dinner and overnight at your camp.

Overnight: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy early morning game viewing drive followed by breakfast at your Camp. Drive further south towards the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Equator crossing point for photos and experiment the effects of the magnetic fields being the center of the earth! Proceed towards the shores of Lake Naivasha to arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake set in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. The lake derives its name from the local Maasai word Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms, which can arise. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

This afternoon’s activity is a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Cruise along the tranquil waters of Lake Naivasha and take in the activity around you. There is certainly no shortage of beautiful birds, you may be fortunate to see an African Fish eagle swoop down to the surface of the lake and snatch a fish. Relax amongst the pools of lazy hippos, yawning away as they float on the water surface.

Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

Overnight: Lake Naivasha

Enjoy an early morning breakfast then proceed for a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park .

The park is one of the best game viewing parks with various animal species including prides of lion, Cape buffalo, waterbucks, wart hogs, the endangered Rothschild giraffes, the black & white Rhino, the Burchell’s zebra, impalas, and the elusive leopard among many others. Over 300 bird species have been recorded here too. This is one of the best places to see the endangered black and white Rhino.

Lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

Later in the afternoon drive back to Naivasha for Dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast and depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy afternoon game viewing drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Be on the look-out for the famous big five; the most sought after in the early 20th century, when Kenya was a hunters’ paradise. These include the lion, Cape buffalo, the Savannah elephant, black rhino and the elusive leopard. The vast savannah grasslands stretch as far as the eye can see is home to impalas, Maasai giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, Thompson & grant’s gazelles, topis, the resident wildebeests among many others.

Overnight: Masai Mara

Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon game viewing drives & adventure. Be on the look-out for the big five that Masai Mara is famous for. These include the lion, savannah (African) elephant, the Cape buffalo, the leopard and the black rhino. We may even be so lucky to witness a leopard or a cheetah sprint and make a kill!

You will also visit a traditional Masai Manyatta and experience the culture of this world famous community. The Masai still live as they did for centuries -interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions.

We return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Optional Activity: You can join a Hot Air Balloon Safari very early in the morning.

After an Early Breakfast at the lodge, we start our drive back to Nairobi.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Nairobi and head for your airport hotel where you have been booked for a DAY ROOM.

Later, Hotel shuttle will transfer you to the airport terminal for your onward flight.

Return flights must be after 6 pm.
